A cooperative initiative with various organizations across the country, Angels 'n Camouflage, Inc. reinforces the importance and advantages of supporting our Veterans and Deployed Service Members.  Since its inception in 2002, Angels 'n Camouflage, Inc. has helped thousands of veterans and troops through 'Mail Call', and emergency assistance for those veterans homeless or injured from combat.

Below is a list of the many ways you can make a difference in the life of a Veteran or Deployed Service Member:
  • Adopt a Veteran:  By adopting a Veteran, you agree to send periodic care packages and weekly letters or cards.  These adoptions are one-on-one and you will be that Veteran's one Angel that he/she can count on.  You will be provided with special information such as birthdates, and their wish lists.
  • Adopt a Deployed Service Member:  By adopting a Deployed Service Member, you agree to send periodic care packages and weekly letters or cards.  These adoptions are one-on-one and you will be that Service Members one Angel that he/she can count on.  You will be provided with special information such as birthdates, estimated time of re-deployment, and their wish lists.
  • Operation Warm and Fuzzies:  What started out as Operation Warm Laps has now expanded to Operation Warm and Fuzzies after our 'Lapghan' Angels made it clear to us that they wanted to do more than just make 'Lapghans'.  Warm and Fuzzy Angels dedicate their time to make homemade lap sized quilts for our Veterans and Injured Veterans at various group homes and Military Medical Facilities throughout the United States and abroad.  Some of these angels also make little hug pillows to match; whereas some Angels just make pillows.  And then we have some Angels who make wheelchair totes which are handy tote bags that hook to the back of the wheelchairs allowing the Veteran or Injured Veteran the ability to carry necessities such as books, games, stationary, hygenic items, and etc. without tying up their ability to manuever their wheelchairs.  For more information about this program, please visit here.
  • Operation Wish List:  This program was established in the Spring of 2006 after we realized that the number of Veterans and Deployed signing up to be adopted outweighed the number of Angels signing up to adopt.  We also heard from many caring citizens that time is just not on their side and yet they still wanted to do something to make a difference.  When a Veteran or Deployed signs up to be adopted, they give us a brief wishlist of what they need or desire.  By sponsoring a wishlist, this would enable us to send care packages to those waiting to be adopted.  The sponsor of a wishlist cannot be provided any personal information about any one Veteran or Deployed in particular, but they will have the opportunity to have a greeting card with their own personal message sent with that individual package.  This gives the Veteran or Deployed the opportunity to personally thank the sponsor of their care package.  This program is especially close to our hearts as we have many homeless Veterans referred to us from time-to-time.  Being able to provide a winter coat, or a gift card to shop for personal hygenic items or food to a homeless Veteran can make all the difference in the world to them!  This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference but just doesn't have the time to commit to an adoption!  After all, our belief is to "Leave NO Veteran behind"!  **NOTE:  A Wish List Sponsors donation is 100% tax deductible.  For more information about this program, please visit here.
  • Operation First Responders:  This program was established in June of 2006 and is very close to our hearts.  We're often approached by homeless Veterans and although we do everything we can to assist them and meet their needs - that very first moment that our paths cross is the most cruicial.  Operation First Responders are backpacks, daypacks and tote bags filled with essential everyday hygenic items that you and I take for granted.  No matter their situation, there isn't a Veteran around who doesn't want to feel good about themselves, and these emergency bags provide them that opportunity to do just that.  Not only do they contain hygenic items, but they are also provided with a new pair of socks and underpants, as well as gift certificates to well known fast-food chains so that they can have hot meals.  For more information about this program and how you can help, please visit here.
  • Go Shopping:  By shopping online using one of the many affiliates listed in our shopping mall, a portion of all sales is donated back to AnC.  For more information about this program, please visit here.
  • Make a Donation:  We operate solely on the generosity of Americans such as you.  Any amount donated to AnC is 100% tax deductible.  For more information, please visit here.
